Motivation, what is it and what does it mean?

The word “motivation” is a noun in the English Language.

Motivation has many meanings because of the wide range of humans on this planet that understand the word in their own ways and very different meanings for each human and religion.

Motivation could be a reason why one would act or behave in a certain way.

A personal example of this would be…

“Being a gymnast, my motivation was to be the best gymnast I could be. I made a promise to my first grade teacher that I would work my heart out to be in the Olympics one day.

A few years later, the gym that I trained at for competitive team was invited to spend a weekend at Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner’s gymnastics camp.

Meeting them in person and being coached by them boosted my motivation even more!

They gave me the inner desire and willingness to keep pushing forward to achieve my dreams of my gymnastics career.” – Natasha Andersson

Being enthusiastic and driven or full of ambition and determination help propel not only yourself motivation, but also the motivation of those around you.

Motivation can be very contagious and can get those creative juices flowing to allow anything to become part of your life.

There are many ways to use motivation.

  • Use your inner motivation to push yourself to the limits or past the limits you accidentally created for yourself
  • Be positive and uplifting to help your motivation spill over to others and help them become motivated to hit the goals they want to achieve

Self Motivation is great and can get you going.

Being in a group of self motivators creates an amazing feeling of energy that warms you up inside to the point of feeling like you want to explode.

Sharing ideas, thoughts and imaginations with others allows them to be fine tuned and brought to reality.

Watching those things come to life is powerful.
